Here at ClarinetPerfection.com we take our clarinet seriously.  After we are completed with refurbishing an instrument not only does it pass all the routine tests for setup but we play the instrument to give it some final tweaks that normal setups cannot do.  This, unfortunately, requires quite a good amount of time playing it.  Luckily we love playing clarinets so we get alot of good practice.  During our play testing our tweaking will make sure response, intonation and tone is even throughout all registers. This process also tests keywork for smoothness during various transitions, at the very end you can be rest assured that the clarinet will play it's best.  All clarinets are guaranteed, ask more about it. Professional Clarinets - We will generally have Buffet professional clarinets, Selmer Paris from CT onwards, Leblanc mostly Concerto era, the full range of Yamaha professional clarinets.  We believe these selections provide the best of the best. We may have other professional instruments from time to time.  All professional clarinets go through our extensive refurbishing process so you can expect the best quality, feel, playing balance and tone.
 		  
Buffet R13

Up for sale is a Buffet R-13 serial number 66xxx which puts it around 1961.  A complete refurbishment with Leather pads throughout with a cork register pad. This is a lovely playing and sounding Buffet clarinet which has an excellent ring to the tone and speaks easily from top to bottom. In a new ProTec case. 

OPTION: The 6 trill and side keys can be upgraded to cork for an additional $50.

Intermediate & Semi-Pro Clarinets - We generally will have Buffet (& Evette & Schaeffer) E11, E12, E13, & C12s; Selmer USA Specials & Soloists, Noblet 45 and 40s, Yamaha 3x and 4xx series all of which we think are exceptional clarinets for the money.  All clarinets get the full refurbishment treatment that we provide all certified and customer clarinets.
 		  
Noblet 45

Completed a Full Refurbishment of this beautiful Noblet 45 with white leather pads throughout and cork pads in trill keys, side keys and register key.  New Protec Case.  Great for the Jazz player or doubler.  This will be getting a new ProTec case (not shown).

I recommend Noblet 45s to sax players as they are a very free blowing and a larger bore clarinet.  Great large tone and they can be pushed.  For the Concert/classical player they offer exceptional great keywork and a very flexible tone.  These are not as centered tonally as Buffet clarinets so one can learn to shade and mold their tone more freely than smaller bore clarinets.

Yamaha 34

Here is a Yamaha 34 intermediate clarinet.  It is designed for an upcoming student who really likes an easy playing, mechanically perfect instrument.  This Yamaha 34 is very easy to play, great intonation and excellent keywork.  It has had a Full Refurbishment with white leather pads throughout.  It comes in it's original plastic case which is in excellent condition. Student Clarinets - we generally will have Buffet B12 & Evette wood, Selmer USA 100s, Normandy, and Yamaha as beginner instruments.  We think these can be exceptional instruments for the money especially since these student instruments get the same refurbishment treatment as the professional instruments.

Most full refunds are within 1 week unless more time is allowed (private teachers, etc).  General warranties are for 1 year to cover any major issues excluding bent keys, dropped instruments or other items initiated by customer. 

The warranty is transferable to any owner as long as I am informed of the transfer - if it is being transferred you have the option of sending it through ClarinetPerfection - we only charge shipping.  We will inspect the clarinet and make minor repairs for free.

I will also give a low price for any repair of any instrument I have sold no matter how long ago whether transferred or not.  Transfers though must be communicated as soon as they occur.

Information Trivia:

Nickel Silver (or German Silver or German Nickel Silver, New Silver, Paktong, Alpacca, Alpaca ) is a metal alloy which contains copper, nickel and sometimes zinc.  Yup, no silver.  None at all.  Some formulas may contain antimony, tin, lead or cadnium. A normal Alloy # 752 is 65% copper, 18% nickel and 17% zinc.   If it contains a higher portion of zinc it may be termed stainless.   Nickel 55-18 is 55% copper, 18% zinc & 27% other.
